How is this possible
Just Updated
I'm iscreamcream, i used to be a big contributor to this wiki a year or two ago, so whats been going on in this wiki lately and is it just me or has some of the pages been deleted
After the game it said Quarterback Ron winters has suffered an injury (neck) , he has died from his injury.
Is this normal?
I clicked random links on YouTube and they brought me here :D
Hi all,

Im new and i like retro bowl
Well fellow Retro Bowl-ians, it's time we fixed this place up. In my opinion, it's probably time we did some renovations. I love the game and its community but here's the issue.... this is dying and our wonderful administration isn't taking it seriously SOOO.... my idea was to just transition to another fandom about the retro bowl series. It hurts me to see this community not doing something about its inactivity.
I shall post the newer retro bowl wiki when it's open to the public. Before you ask, whoever were ADMINS/MODS HERE transitions their rank to the NEWER ONE.
I hope everyone agrees and understands why I decided this. If you want to join, you can, if you don't then don't. I'm just trying to help you all out.
Hi all, we have been dealing with a lot of griefing and since I am the only active admin it is hard for me to catch it all. If you see someone editing pages and writing gibberish or other unrelated info on there please report and let me know. Thanks

After Steve Merritt made his decision to transfer after former head coach Kabibi Olukala resigned unexpectedly from Atlanta, the Falcons have became better than ever.
END OF Y1
HC Steve Merritt ended up with a huge win against Carolina in Week 18's game. Atlanta fans were pretty excited for what Merritt had in store for the team.
NFL DRAFT 2023 (A)
HC Merritt sent all his current players to other teams, just like he did in Vegas. Merritt's first priority was a good quarterback, & Rookie QB Drake Benson would be a good pick, so Steve snagged him while he could. Atlanta would sign a $21M contract for Benson to be on the team. After that roller coaster of money, Merritt would select Rookie HB (RB) Shavonte Griffin, and that was a nice pick as well. For wide-receivers, Merritt snagged up Rookies Addison Sleet & Beau Cochran. That practically left them with 1 last pick for Round 2, so the defense was next. Merritt signed DB Derek Flynn, and that boy can run! Eventually, Merritt ended up with some good picks in Round 3, selecting some DL & a LB.
WEEK 1 - Atlanta (0-0) @ Green Bay (0-0)
Atlanta's first game would be against the Green Bay Packers, and without Aaron Rodgers on their side would be slightly more challenging than before. Atlanta on the other hand had great throws & picks. QB Drake Benson would launch it down field to WR Beau Cochran. Cochran ended up with 3 TDs that game, with other Rookie WR Addison Sleet getting 2. RB Shavonte Griffin would snag a touchdown as well.
RESULT - Atlanta (1-0) @ Green Bay (0-1) || ATL -> 47-27 <- GB
WEEK 2 - Atlanta (1-0) v. Arizona (0-0-1)
QB Kyler Murray (ARZ) and his offense would get annihilated by Atlanta in Arizona's own stadium.
RESULT - Atlanta (2-0) v. Arizona (0-1-1) || ATL -> 48-17 <- ARZ
At the end of Y1, Steve Merritt moved up from the offensive coordinator spot with the UCLA Bruins to coach at an NFL team. Merritt was selected to take on the reigns at Vegas to help them get into the Retro Bowl playoffs & Retro Bowl LIX (59).
Steve Merritt coached for East Central High School up in Arizona, then moved up into the college teams. Merritt was offered a job at #23 UCLA to take the offensive coordinating job to A WHOLE other level. Steve stayed with UCLA for 10 seasons, then moved on from the college era to the National Football League.
Y2 Starts...
With Merritt having regrets and doubtful decisions in his mind with his picks, the Las Vegas offense and defense showed him who they really were. With Rookie QB Zach Porter getting the starter job, & WR Lenson King getting dime after dime touchdowns, the offense was unstoppable. DL Scott Vahe & DB Jay House on the defense was pretty tough, as Merritt ran out of picks for Y2 season, but the defense got it done.
Week 1 - Las Vegas v. Dallas
The first actually season starter game with head coach Steve Merritt was a success. QB Zach Porter launched the ball down field when a player was open, and WR Lenson King got the job done. King scored 5 touchdowns of the game with RB Rashad Ollisen getting a snag at the Dallas 15YD line.
Week 2 - Las Vegas v. NY Giants
Vegas' offense & defense stopped the scoreless New York Giants in the first half of the game, but it changed when the Giants scored a field goal but that's all they got in that game.
Week 3 - Las Vegas v. LA Chargers
QB Zach Porter showed LA who ran their division with a win over them in Week 3. RB Ollisen & WR King ran the ball down the sideline most of the plays. The Raiders' offense scored atleast 500 yards per game.
Week 4 - Las Vegas v. Denver
The practical maxed-out defense of Denver was destroying the Raider's offensive line, but that didn't stop QB Zach Porter & WR Lenson King from making plays to gain back some yards. Vegas ended up having a great first half of the game, but Denver would trail behind, and throw and interception. It was a 10 point lead for the Raiders, concluding the 4th quarter.
Epilogue
So far, Steve Merritt & his Vegas team remain undefeated in Y2. Could this end up like New Orleans HC John McCoy & his Saints team in Y2?
